With Prayers, A Watchman Youth Prevails

Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in Zion ~ Isaiah 8:18.

EKENE Nzekwe is a Watchman youth from Sari Iganmu Parish, Lagos Arch-diocese. Recently, his powerful prayers recovered  a schoolboy who had mysteriously vanished after  picking up the  money he saw on the street.

This incident caused a great stir in the area, and the news of it spread like wildfire. It was an elated Ekene  who later testified  before a jubilant gathering of Watchmen and their visitors during a recent combined Sunday meeting at the General Fellowship Centre of the Watchman, Aiyetoro, Lagos:

Ekene Nzekwe Sharing His Testimony

“I want to testify of how God recovered a boy who had mysteriously disappeared. Two weeks ago, while returning from school, I met two school children, a boy and a girl, arguing over whether to pick a sum of money they had seen  on the road or not.

The boy wanted to take it but the girl advised against it, and suggested they moved on. I heard them arguing, and when I asked, they told me what the matter was.

I also advised against picking the money,  but the boy did not listen. Suddenly, he went back and took the money and vanished immediately into thin air, before our very eyes.

Then the girl started crying, and attracted passers-by to the scene. She continued to cry  until I asked her if she believed that God was going to bring her brother back, and she answered yes.

We held hands together and began to pray. While we were praying and asking God to have mercy, the boy suddenly re-appeared.

Everybody present was amazed. It was with great joy and relief  that his sister took him, and they hurriedly moved away. God’s name was mightily glorified as a result of this miracle.”
